What began as a small boat rental company has grown into a trusted maritime brand, offering private cruises, luxury speedboat experiences, and VIP sea transfers across Poros, Hydra, Spetses, Athens and the wider Saronic Gulf.

Ioannis Nakas was born in 1985 in Athens and spent his childhood between Athens and Crete, where he carries his mother’s roots. A life surrounded by the sea shaped his early years and naturally led him to pursue a maritime career.
At 18, he entered the Hellenic Merchant Marine Academy of Hydra, graduating successfully and beginning a professional journey at sea. Over the years, he served on commercial vessels worldwide and rose to the rank of Master Mariner A’ Class, gaining extensive experience in navigation, ship management, safety and leadership.
In 2021, Ioannis moved to Poros, instantly connecting with the island’s calm beauty and maritime character. Inspired by this environment, he founded Nakas Blue in 2022, choosing Poros as the heart of the company. His vision:
to share the love for the sea with people from all over the world, delivering safe, premium and truly authentic cruising experiences.

Aggelos is a key part of the skipper team, responsible for vessel readiness, technical checks, guest safety and cruise execution. With experience as an officer in the Merchant Navy, he brings discipline, seamanship and calm professionalism to every voyage.
